With more than seven years of professional gundog training experience, Benjamin Baker has built his career around a lifelong passion for working dogs, hunting, and the people who share that lifestyle.

Baker’s journey began in Texas, where a chance encounter at an outdoor convention introduced him to one of the country’s most influential dog trainers. Given an opportunity to learn the profession firsthand, Baker spent the next two years being mentored and developing the training philosophy, field experience, and standards that would ultimately shape his career.

That experience eventually brought him north, where he was recruited to develop and establish a gundog kennel for another organization. After successfully building the program, Baker decided it was time to pursue the vision he had always had for himself: creating Rockin’ B Gundogs.

From the beginning, Baker never wanted Rockin’ B Gundogs to be an average training kennel. Instead, he built it around a community-first philosophy—bringing together gundog owners, hunters, trainers, and newcomers who share a passion for working dogs and the outdoors. The training program remains intentionally small and exclusive, allowing each dog and owner to receive the individual attention and support Baker believes they deserve.

A major part of that mission is introducing new people to hunting and helping them become confident, responsible sportsmen and women. For Baker, developing great gundogs is only part of the purpose. Creating opportunities for people to get into the field, learn, build friendships, and become part of the hunting community is equally important.

Now entering its next chapter, Rockin’ B Gundogs continues to grow while staying committed to the principles it was founded on: quality dogs, thoughtful training, responsible hunting, and a community built around a shared love of the outdoors.
